![]() ![]() There might be an exception to only include OGG files for Android exports, but I've heard there can be some inconsistency with this platform. If you are distributing your game for any other platform (web-browsers, Linux or Android or whatever else) you might be best off including both. Similarly, if you are distributing your game for iOS, you may use M4A exclusively (iOS devices do not support OGG vorbis natively). The nw.js wrapper used for Win&Mac desktop distribution is essentially a Chromium browser, which toggles RMMV to use the OGG format, making the M4A files unnecessary). The only way you can cut down on file size to not include both is if you're packing the game specifically for Windows or Macintosh (for desktop play, NOT for web-browser play) then you should only include OGG files. You must include every sound effect and music as both M4A and OGG. i tried reinstalling MV but no dice, tried. When RMMV initializes it use one or the other depending on the platform it detects, it will exclusively use either M4A or OGG during the entire playthrough based on what platform the player is using. rpgmaker mv have no sound, help whether its a project im creating (play test and deployed), or a game i downloaded from the website, any game that is made by rpgmaker mv doesnt have a sound, no SE, no BGM, even webm files that have sounds only play the video without the accompanying sounds. You should reference the Asset Standards, because I think you've misunderstood the purpose of both M4A and OGG in RMMV. ![]()
